5 cup, square top glass blender jar. Replaces Oster square top glass jars. Fits all Oster blender models using a 5 cup jar with a square top. Fits all Oster Kitchen Center models. This is the most common Oster jar type. All Kitchen Centers use this type of jar. This will fit all Oster blenders, but if your is a VERY old model (40 years old), using a 4 cup jar or a new model using a 6 cup jar, your lid will not fit and you may need to purchase the OS-060 lid and cap. THIS IS NOT A GENUINE OSTER PART.

"Cup fits (not perfectly) my Oster Blender, but the top is smaller than the original, so the cover does not fit at all. Should come with the cover, or, at least, let you know that your cover will not fit. If you have the opportunity, go for the original one."

THis is a very good replacement for my Oster blender. The shape is like the original. The original was plastic and cracked when I had something too hot in it. This one has heavy glass. The glass reminds of the heavy weight like mixing bowls (or heavier). Once I got used to the weight, I've been quite pleased with the blender jar. I used it last night when making butternut squash soup.
One problem I've had is sometimes there is leakage (the bottom gets unscrewed from the glass. This may be since I can't remember whether to put the plastic ring under the blades or under the glass. I bought an extra plastic ring, so I think I'll try both next time!5 cup glass square top blender jar, fits Oster & Osterizer.
